Welcome to the Morris School District Sunrise/Sunset Childcare Programs
The Sunrise and Sunset programs are operated by the Community School and are designed for children attending the district’s elementary and middle schools. Programs are available for children from Pre-K through 8th grade, without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, or disabilities, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Program Overview
- Sunrise (Before School, K–5 only): Offered at three schools.
- Sunset (After School): Available at all seven elementary schools, the Lafayette Learning Center and the Frelinghuysen Middle School.
- Programs include a snack, homework assistance, physical activity, and STEAM projects.
- We strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment for all students and families.
🗓 Registration Information
Registration is currently Closed. Registration will temporarily close from August 15 to September 14 while we prepare for the start of the school year. After September 14, enrollment will reopen for new participants based on availability.
