As we approach the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, it is informative, thought-provoking, and exciting to learn about the art that it inspired. This two-part class will focus on depictions of its actions and images of the people involved. Works chosen from the time these historic events took place down to those created in later decades will be viewed and discussed. A range of media: painting, sculpture, prints, and ceramics, will be explored.
