Cooking Around the World
Embark on a culinary journey across the globe! Students will explore the science behind cooking while learning about different cultures and cuisines. They'll discover how chemical reactions create delicious results, understand the importance of measurements, and develop an appreciation for diverse flavors and cooking techniques.

Podcasting
Dive into the world of digital storytelling! Students will learn the basics of audio production, script writing, and interviewing techniques. They'll work in teams to create their own mini-podcast series, covering topics of their choice while developing communication and technical skills.

Bridge Builders
Combine engineering principles with creative writing in this exciting elective. Students will design and construct model bridges using various materials, learning about structural integrity and physics. They'll also craft stories about their bridges, imagining the worlds they connect and the characters who cross them.

Hand Sewing
Introduce students to the timeless craft of hand sewing. They'll learn basic stitches, how to thread a needle, and create simple projects like stuffed animals or decorative pillows. This elective enhances fine motor skills, patience, and creativity while providing a practical life skill.

Chess
Develop strategic thinking and problem-solving skills through the classic game of chess. Students will learn the rules, basic strategies, and the mathematical concepts behind the game. They'll engage in friendly matches, improving their logical reasoning and foresight.

Double Dutch
Jump into fun with this high-energy elective! Students will learn the art of Double Dutch jump roping, improving coordination, rhythm, and cardiovascular fitness. They'll practice jumping techniques, create routines, and even learn some Double Dutch rhymes and songs.
