Block 3 options for weeks 1 - 3

• Dino Dig:  
  • Travel back in time to the age of dinosaurs! Students will learn about paleontology, participate in simulated fossil digs, and discover the fascinating world of prehistoric life. 
• Coding for Beginners:  
  • Start your coding journey here! Students will learn the basics of programming through fun, interactive projects. They'll develop logical thinking skills and create simple games and animations. 
• Knex Builders:  
  • Unleash your inner engineer with K'NEX! Students will design and construct amazing structures and machines, learning about physics and engineering principles while having fun with these versatile building sets. 
• Comic Book Class:  
  • Unleash your inner storyteller! Students will learn the art of comic book creation, from developing characters and plotlines to drawing and inking their own comic strips. 
• Design Your Dream Home:  
  • Unleash your inner architect! Students will apply math concepts to design their dream homes, learning about measurement, geometry, and budgeting in a fun, creative way. 
• Basketball:  
  • Dribble, shoot, and score in this exciting basketball class! Students will learn fundamental skills, game strategies, and teamwork while having fun on the court.

Please choose one class for the block. 

If insufficient enrollment occurs for an elective, the Morris School District reserves the right to modify or cancel the course.

Families will be promptly notified of any changes to their child's selected elective.
