Block 2 options for weeks 1 - 3

• Chemistry in the Kitchen 3-5: B  
  • Discover the science behind cooking in this fun, hands-on class. Students will conduct edible experiments, learn about chemical reactions, and explore the delicious world where science meets the kitchen. 
• Lego Robotics 3-5: B  
  • Unleash your inner engineer and programmer with Lego Robotics! Students will work in teams to design, build, and program robots using LEGO® Education kits. They'll learn about coding, problem-solving, and teamwork as they tackle exciting challenges and bring their robotic creations to life. This class is being run by an outside provider; Snapology of Livingston NJ. Possible courses include: RoboPets, Mega Machines, Attackbots, and Space Wars. Click here to learn more about Snapology.  
• Container Gardening and Community Service:  
  • Combine your love for gardening with giving back to the community! Students will learn how to create beautiful and productive container gardens while understanding the importance of sustainable agriculture. They will cultivate plants and vegetables, and then donate a portion of their harvest to local organizations, learning valuable lessons about community service and helping others 
• 3D Art: Clay:  
  • Get hands-on with clay in this sculpting class. Students will learn basic techniques to create three-dimensional artworks, developing their spatial awareness and creativity. 
• TREP$ (4th and 5th Only): B
  • Young entrepreneurs will love this program! Students will learn the basics of running a business, from product development to marketing and sales, all while applying practical math skills. 
• Field Sports:  
  • Experience a variety of outdoor sports in this energetic class. Students will learn the rules and basic skills of popular field sports while developing teamwork and sportsmanship.

If insufficient enrollment occurs for an elective, the Morris School District reserves the right to modify or cancel the course.

Families will be promptly notified of any changes to their child's selected elective.
