Two Artists Who Brought European Modernism to America: Session 1
Explore how Joseph Stella and Max Weber helped bring European Futurism and Cubism into American art in this two-session lecture. Across both sessions, we will compare key words, trace their parallel careers, and consider each artist's role in shaping early twentieth-century American Moderinism; attending both sessions is encouraged but not required.
